Revamping and further development of the Chillventa brand profile

Since 2008, Chillventa has been the face of the world’s leading trade fair for refrigeration technology. Since then, both the industry and society have undergone significant development. The trade fair’s revamped brand identity is therefore consciously moving with time: an innovative, dynamic design meets a brand ambassador, Chillventa, who represents the international meeting place for refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and heat pump experts in a professional, trustworthy and appealing way.

The task

“Connecting Experts” is Chillventa’s motto, mission and USP: The trade fair connects international experts. The brand identity makeover is intended to focus this community concept and position the trade fair as the most relevant platform in the industry and the leading event for refrigeration, air conditioning technology and heat pumps. The main aim is to further develop the existing design in a modern and dynamic way without creating a noticeable break – across all media: static, analog, moving, digital and, of course, live at the trade fair. The brand ambassador Chillventa plays a key role here: As a testimonial, she confidently and coolly, but at the same time approachably and sympathetically, embodies the trade fair.

The implementation

For the new brand presence, we deliberately focus on the key color “jade” and the brand ambassador Chillventa as the key visual and testimonial for a high recognition value. The design is intentionally clean, reduced and modern instead of fashionable for a timeless and strong appearance. As the “new” Chillventa, Farina Fichtner-Zenker brings the brand identity to life. She clearly impressed in an extensive casting among moderators who have modeling experience and can present in both German and English. She was involved in the video and photo production in the summer of 2024 and, of course, at the trade fair itself in October 2024. Katalyn Kiss’s styling and Anna Ploch’s hair and make-up defined a convincing look that photographer Stefanie Aumiller captured harmoniously and impressively for the visualization. Theim had the lead for the entire project: from the conception and implementation of the brand presence, through model selection and booking, to video and photo production and the on-site appearance.

The result

A new Chillventa that is 100% convincing: Professional, serious, cool and always likeable, she brought the concept and the new brand identity to life in interviews, with messages on social media and, of course, at the selfie wall. For 20 years, we have been able to support and help develop Chillventa – a trustful and exciting journey to this day. As a close-knit team, Theim worked with the client to implement the new brand identity with pinpoint precision: from the initial workshop to concept development, casting and design, and on to photo and video production.
